New favorite local breakfast spot in OB! Food is crazy good for the price. I got the #3 and it did not disappoint. The biscuits and gravy were out of this world! My fiance and I both got a decent size breakfast platter, coffee & tea, and walked out of there only spending around 35. They have some pretty solid 10 breakfast combo deals too. The best part about this place though is the vibe. It’s pretty unassuming from the outside but the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles and the feeling like we were being welcomed into someone’s home with all our neighbors. If you are looking for a homey and chill beach cafe with delicious, affordable food that will fill you up, this is it. Can’t wait to come back every week and slowly make my way through the menu.
I was looking for traditional Mexican soup and this place delivered!! I got the menudo, and it came with warm tortillas and a plate with chopped onions, cilantro, and crushed red pepper. For a first-timer not knowing what to expect- it was Fire!!! Flavorful and full of corn, pork, and other yummies; this delicious dish did not disappoint! Perfect for the chilly, foggy afternoon topped off great wait staff and the homey feel of their spot. I recommend stopping in when you're in the Ocean Beach area! As a bonus, they do American food as well, so everyone in your crew will find something satisfying to chow down on.

This restaurant is one of our favorites, it's a must stop for us everytime we visit San Diego, the store always kept clean and tidy, staff is extremely friendly, nice, and they get you order right no matter what you ordered! Their menu is great and the food is on point! They have a back patio which is very nice to dine in! It's a family owned business with awesome brothers managing it. See you next time!
